We take reviewing laptops very seriously as our mission is to help you find the perfect one for your needs. Because of that, we have a rigorous testing process that laptops go through and a strict no freebies or paid placements policy. This ensures that our reviews are both accurate and impartial.

We never take sponsorships

Our goal is to provide unbiased laptop reviews, so we never take sponsorships from any laptop manufacturers. We never allow paid placements or product giveaways, either. This ensures that our reviews are always 100% honest.

If a company would like to send us a laptop for review, we test it and return it after we’re done, but we never let them influence our opinion.

What laptops do we review?

We try to review as many different laptops as possible, from all the major brands like Dell, Lenovo, HP, Asus, Acer, and Microsoft.

We also keep an eye out for new and upcoming brands that are shaking up the laptop market.

What Do We Look at When Reviewing laptops?

When reviewing laptops, we take a close look at several important factors, including:

Performance: How well does the laptop perform? We test the performance with a variety of different benchmarks and real-world usage scenarios.

Battery life: How long does the battery last? We run benchmark tests and also test battery life while performing typical tasks like browsing the web, watching videos, and working in productivity apps.

Screen quality: How good is the laptop’s display? We evaluate the resolution, brightness, color accuracy, and overall image quality.

Keyboard and trackpad: How comfortable is the keyboard and how does the trackpad feel? We test for key travel, layout, and overall comfort.

Build quality: How well-built is the laptop? We look at things like the materials used, port placement, and overall design.

Value: Is the laptop a good value for the price? We consider the performance, features, and build quality when determining whether a laptop is a good value.

We also compare each laptop to similar models on the market to see how it stacks up.

How Do We Write our Reviews?

First, we acquire the laptop. We never put out a review without actually physically testing the laptop.

This can happen in several ways:

  • We buy the laptop
  • We borrow the laptop from a retailers
  • We borrow the laptop from our network

Then we use the above-mentioned factors to evaluate the laptop and come up with our findings.

We also take into account user reviews from other sites, like Amazon, to get a well-rounded idea of what users think of the laptop.

Reviews on third-party websites help us to discover any potential problems that we might have missed during our testing.

We look at hundreds of reviews, good and bad to find any common issues.

After we’ve come to a conclusion, we write up our review and publish it on our website.
